Omnet Photo Sizer Privacy Policy

Photos stay on your device

Omnet Photo Sizer compresses one photo at a time on your device. The app has no account, no ads, no purchases, no analytics, and no developer-operated backend or server upload. It does not request the Android INTERNET permission.

Data the app handles

The app handles the photo you choose through the system picker, or one sent in through the system Share sheet, and the compressed JPEG copy the app creates.

How it is used

The selected photo is read so the app can create a compressed JPEG copy. The app previews the output size in bytes and pixel dimensions. You then save the result through the system document picker, or share the selected result to an app you choose.

Storage and retention

Temporary JPEGs are stored in the app cache. Copies older than 24 hours are removed during a later conversion; this is not a guaranteed deletion timer. Clearing app storage or uninstalling the app removes this cache. The app can retain the selected image reference and size choice in local saved state.

Backup

Android cloud backup is disabled for this release.

Your original photo

Your original photo is never edited. JPEG output loses transparency (white background) and does not keep original EXIF or GPS metadata. Quality and resolution may decrease as the file is compressed toward the target size.

Sharing and storage you choose

Files you save to destinations you select, including cloud storage, and apps you share to, are governed by their own privacy policies, not by Omnet Photo Sizer. Saving and sharing happen only when you direct them through the system document picker or the system Share sheet, and the files may be sent through third-party apps you choose.

Store, website, and support

Google Play and Android may process information under their own policies when the app is distributed through Google Play or run on your device. This is separate from Omnet Photo Sizer, which handles only the photos described above. If you visit our public privacy page, its hosting provider processes ordinary web requests under its own privacy policy; the app does not contact that website automatically.

If you contact support, the only information used to respond is what you send to support@omnetsystems.com. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information.
