The migration acceptance kit
Give the local checker a CSV with source,target columns. It checks public HTTP redirects and produces a standalone HTML report, CSV results, and JSON you can open above.
- Prepare the approved old-to-new map.
- Run the Python checker on your computer.
- Fix the exceptions, rerun, and share the report.
Python 3.10+ and a terminal are required. Up to 1,000 mappings per run. HTTP 301 or 308, exact final destination, a single redirect, and a final 2xx response. No automated site changes.
What it checks
Redirect status, each recorded redirect hop, expected versus actual destination, final HTTP status, loops, and request failures.
What it doesn’t check
Rankings, JavaScript redirects, canonicals, robots rules, content equivalence, analytics, or authenticated staging sites. Use your existing crawler for a full SEO audit.
Your data
Imported reports stay in this tab. We add no analytics or upload endpoint. The hosting provider processes ordinary website requests. If you email us, your email and message are used to answer your request.
